We want Moneylight to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is something we design for as we build, not a box we check at the end.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the benchmark most widely referenced for accessible websites. In practice that means readable color contrast, text that resizes without breaking the layout, content you can operate with a keyboard alone, and labels that assistive technology can announce.
How we get there
Moneylight is a small, actively maintained product. We review the public site and the signup flow against these guidelines as we make changes, using both automated tools and manual checks. Because the product keeps changing, accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state, and some areas may still fall short of what we are aiming for.
Reporting a barrier
If any part of Moneylight is hard to use with assistive technology, or something does not work the way it should, we want to hear about it. Email hello@moneylight.app and tell us what happened, and if you can, the page you were on and the assistive technology you were using. We read every message and will work to fix what we can.
